A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
EXTENSION OF THE 1988-1989
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
DUBLIN AND THE POLICE OFFICER AND
SERGEANT EMPLOYEE GROUP, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the 1988-1989 Agreement between the City of Dublin and the Police
Officer and Sergeant Employee Group expired on December 31, 1989; and,
WHEREAS, Council believes it is in the best interest of the City and the
Employee Group to extend said Agreement until a new Agreement is ratified
by Ordinance of Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
Sect ion 1. That the 1988-1989 Agreement between the City of Dublin and
the Police Officer and Sergeant Employee Group be, and hereby is, extended
until which time a new Agreement is ratified by Council.
Section 2. That this resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared to
be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public
health, safety, and welfare and, therefore, this resolution shall take
effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
