A RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO SUPPORT
ISSUE 3, THE METRO PARKS LEVY
WHEREAS, Issue 3, the Metro Parks levy, will provide funds to operate,
maintain, improve, and develop the Metro Parks, and to acquire and
develop additional lands for park use for a 10-year period; and
WHEREAS, the number of visitors to the Metro Parks has tripled during
the past 20 years, with no increase in taxes to assist in addressing
the additional demands on the parks; and
WHEREAS, the county's Metro Parks provide all Franklin County citizens
with the opportunity to enjoy wholesome activities:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. We do resolve to support Issue 3, the Metro Parks levy, on
the November 7 ballot. We urge all Dublin citizens to support Issue 3.
