A RESOLUTION PRESCRIBING THE LOCATIONS
WITHIN THE CITY OF DUBLIN WHERE ORDINANCES
AND RESOLUTIONS, AS PASSED BY DUBLIN CITY
COUNCIL WILL BE POSTED
WHEREAS, the Dublin City Charter in Article 4.14 states that ordinances
and resolutions passed by the City Council shall be posted/published in
not less than three (3) public places for a period of not less than 15
days after their adoption; and,
WHEREAS, the Dublin City Council for reasons in part attributable to the
growth of the City, and changes as regards "most public places", does
desire to make changes in said posting areas.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The posting/publication referred to above shall be in the
following prescribed locations, hereby determined to be the most public
places in the City:
Dublin City Hall
Dublin Library
Dublin Chamber of Commerce Building
Dublin Barber Shop
Section 2. This Resolution supersedes Resolution No. 01-74, passed by the
Dublin Council on January 7, 1974.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force after
the earliest period allowed by law.

RESOLUTION PRESCRIBING METHOD OF PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS,
8UnMENTS, ORDERS, PROCLAMATIONS, NOTICES AND REPORTS: DETERMINING
FIVE OF THE MOST PUBLIC PLACES IN THE VILLAGE: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Counoil of the Village of Dublin, State ot Ohio
f0 of, the elected members ooncurring:
SECTION 1. That the publioation of ordinanoes, resolutions, statements,
orders, proolamations, notioes and reports required by law or ordinanoe
to be published, shall be published by porting oopies thereof in five-
or the most publio plaoes in the Village as herein determined and
presoribed.
SECTION 2. That the posting referred to in Seotion 1. shall be in the
following preseoribed plaoes which are hereby determined to be five of
the most public plaoes in the Village.
1. Dublin Barber Shop
2. Dublin T.V.
3. Dublin Library
4. Dublin MUnioipal Building
5. Heritrage G\m '" Pipe Shop... ~~ \: \ .~~ ):. 'S.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution supercedes Resolution No: 06-72.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution be, and the same hereby is, deo1ared to
be an emergenoy measure neoessary for the immediate preservaticn of the
publio peaoe, health and safety for the reason that a method of publication
of ordinanoes, resolutions, statements, orders, proolamations, notioes
and reports is presently needed to proteot the peaoe, health and safety

Dear Mr. Barto1omucci:
On Monday, June 5, 1989 the Dublin City Council passed Resolution No. 14-89
prescribing locations within the City of Dublin where ordinances and resolutions
as passed by Dublin City Council will be posted (copy attached) . You will note
that Dublin TV is not on the current list of locations.
One of the Council members recalled that when Dublin TV was selected as a posting
place that it was a "most public place" in that motor vehicle registrations,
licenses, etc. were sold in that location, and therefore had a great deal of local
resident traffic.
We certainly appreciate the 15 years you have allowed us to use your place of
business as an official posting/publication location for the ordinances and
resolutions passed by Dublin City Council during that time.
