Resolution No. 01-89
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Mr. Michael L. Close from January, 1984 through
December, 1988 served on the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, serving the last three years as Mayor of the
City.
WHEREAS, while serving in said capacities Mr. Close who,
with leadership and dedication of time and effort guided
Dublin through a period of rapid growth; from a village to
a city.
WHEREAS, by his leadership Mr. Close has earned the respect
of the conununity, presiding at ceremonial occasions in Dublin,
Ohio as well as in Dublin, Ireland.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Dublin, State of Ohio, that by this Resolution said Council
and City expresses its sincere thanks for, and best wishes
to, Mr. Michael L. Close in his new position as Franklin
County Conunon Pleas Court Judge.
