EYRE AND SHIRLEY A. EYRE. WHEREAS, the City of Dublin (the "City ") is preparing to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Hyland -Croy Road and Brand Road; and WHEREAS, said roadway project requires that the City obtain certain property interests in Union County parcel no. 17- 0028017.000, owned by Lester R. Eyre and Shirley A. Eyre (the "Eyres "), said property interests set forth in the legal descriptions attached hereto as Exhibits "A" and "B "; and WHEREAS, the City and the Eyres participated in discussions for the acquisition of this property, and have come to mutually agreeable terms for the acquisition; and WHEREAS, the City desires to execute necessary conveyance documentation to complete the transaction between the City and the Eyres. NOW,REFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring that: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all necessary conveyance documentation to acquire an approximate 0.023 acres utility and drainage easement, and an approximate 0.055 acres temporary construction and grading easement within Union County parcel no. 17- 0028017.000, as set forth in the legal descriptions attached, from Lester R. Eyre and Shirley A. Eyre. Section 2. This ordinance shall go into effect as of the earliest date permitted by law. Haque DATE: November 10, 2011 RE: Ordinance No. 62 -11 Hyland- Croy /Brand Road Roundabout Project Lester R. & Shirley A. Eyre PROJECT BACKGROUND: The City of Dublin ( "City ") is preparing to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Hyland - Croy and Brand Roads (the 'Project"). The City must obtain property interests from various landowners located within the City in order to construct this project. The City presented good faith offers to each of these landowners in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code. One of the landowners that the City must obtain property from for the construction of the Project is Lester R. Eyre and Shirley A. Eyre (the "Eyres "). After engaging in amicable negotiations, the City has come to an agreement with the Eyres to acquire the necessary property interests pursuant to the terms outlined in this memorandum. ACQUISITION INTRODUCTION: The City will be acquiring from the Eyres only those property interests needed for the roundabout project. These property interests are generally depicted in the map that is attached to this memorandum. The City initially offered $1,710.00 for the property interests needed in accordance with the City's appraisal. After negotiations, the parties settled on $2,500.00 for the property.
