RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS REGARDING ANY
MODIFICATION TO THE FINDINGS AND ORDERS BY THE
DIRECTOR OF THE OHIO EPA ON THE STANDARD
CONNECTION BAN IMPOSED ON THE CITY OF DUBLIN, OHIO,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, on March 7, 1990, the Director of the Ohio Environmental Protection
Agency (EP A) issued Final Findings and Orders to the City of Dublin, imposing a
standard connection ban;
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1990, Dublin City Council passed Resolution 49-90 which
authorized the City Manager to execute certain documents which modified these Findings
and Orders;
WHEREAS, it may be necessary to further modify these Findings and Orders in the
future.
Section 1. The City of Dublin and the Ohio EP A are currently discussing certain
modifications to those Findings and Orders. Since it is the desire of the City Council to
....... .... achieve a deferral of the required sewage detention basin, the City Manager is authorized
to enter into an agreement which accomplishes this goal and is otherwise in the best
interests of the City of Dublin.
Section 2. The Council of the City of Dublin authorizes the City Manager to execute
all necessary documents regarding any modification to the Findings and Orders by the
Director of the Ohio EP A on the Standard Connection Ban imposed on the City of
Dublin, Ohio.
Section 3. That this Resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency
measure for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and therefore this
Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon is passage.
