II adopt a statement indicating what services, if any, the ,

II Municipal Corporation will provide to the territory proposed ,

II Section 1. The City of Dublin will provide the following
I'
I municipal services for the 20.22+/- acres in Jerome Township,
I,
il Union County upon the annexation of said area to the City of
Dublin, Ohio: d ) . t'

II Police. The City provides Police
,I an . Commun1ca 10ns
II service on a full twenty-four hour basis and also has
II mutual aid agreements with other municipalities. The
,I annexation area lies approximately one mile west of
II Dublin's Police Division Headquarters. Dublin operates
II with a minimum of four cruisers on duty. A response time
I of approximately five minutes for an emergency situation
I should be expected for this area.
Fire. Fire and emergency medical services protection is
currently provided by well-staffed departments in Jerome,
Washington and Perry Townships. They, too, have mutual
aid agreements with other municipalities. This
annexation would not change fire department
jurisdictional boundaries, and therefore response times
for fire and emergency medical services will not be
affected. The Jerome Township Fire Station is
approximately six miles from the annexation area and
normal response times should be approximately eight
minutes. However, due to an existing automatic response
agreement, the area is also served by the Washington
Township Fire Station 93 which is located approximately
1.0 mile away, and normal response time would be
approximately three minutes.
Sanitation. Residential refuse collection services are
contracted by the City and are currently provided at no
additional charge.
Street Maintenance. The City has a Street Maintenance
Department which provides excellent service in the area
of street and road maintenance. This department also
provides curbside leaf piCk-up at no additional charge.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF DUBLIN OF 20.220 ACRES,
MORE OR LESS, IN THE TOWNSHIP OF JEROME
TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF UNION COUNTY, OIDO:
The undersigned, petitioners in the premises, and being a MAJORITY OF
OWNERS OF REAL ESTATE in the territory hereinafter described, consisting of
20.22 acres, more or less, in the Township of Jerome which area is continuous and
adjacent to the City of Dublin, do hereby pray that said territory be annexed to the City of
Dublin, according to the statutes of the State of Ohio.
A full and accurate description and a plat of said territory so prayed to be annexed
are attached hereto and made part hereof
In support of said Petition, your petitioners state that there is within the territory
so prayed to be annexed, one (1) OWNER OF REAL ESTATE.
William H. Adams is hereby appointed Agent for the undersigned Petitioners, as
required by Section 709.02 of the Revised code of Ohio. Said agent is hereby authorized
to make any amendment and/or deletion which in his absolute and complete discretion is
necessary or proper under the circumstances then existing, and in particular to make such
amendment in order to correct any discrepancy or mistake noted by the Union County
Engineer in his examination of the Petition and Plat. Said amendment shall be made by the
presentation of an amended plat and description to the Board of County Commissioners
on, before, or after the date set for hearing on this Petition,

The following REAL ESTATE situated in the Township of Jerome,
County of Union, and the State of Ohio; being located in
Virginia Military Survey No. 3452, being part of a 68.991
acre tract conveyed to W. W. & H. L. Gorden and being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning for reference, at an iron pin found marking an angle
in Post Road (60' feet in width) and in the centerline of
Hyland-Croy Road (Co. Rd. 2 B, 50' in width);
thence South 60010' 34" East 395.65 feet to a State Highway
Monument, being a iron pin found marking an angle point in said
Post Road;
thence South 52044'45" East 828.55 feet to an iron pipe found
marking an angle point in said Post Road;
thence South 72006'12" East 602.47 feet to an iron pipe found
marking an angle point in said Post Road;
thence South 87004'45" East 165.96 feet to an iron pin found in
the centerline of said Post Road marking the southeast corner
of a 1.048 acre tract conveyed to L. E. & D. M. Neville (D.B.
246, pg. 276), and the Principle Point of Beginning of the
herein described tract;
thence North 03044'15" West 222.15 feet, along the east line of
said 1.048 acre tract, to an iron pipe found marking a
southeast corner of a 50.79 acre tract conveyed to D. M.
Neville (D,B. 265, pg. 661);
thence North 03052'27" West 4149.02 feet, along the east line
of said 50.79 acre tract, to a stone found in the south line of
a 48.17 acre tract conveyed to Columbus Builder's Supply (O.R.
7360 j 07);
thence North 85033'11" East 383.3 feet, along the south line of
said 48.17 acre tract to a point in the Union / Franklin County
line;
thence South 00052' 37" West 4392.49 feet, across sa id 68.991
acre tract and a long sa id County line, to a po i nt in the
centerline of said Post Road;
thence North 87004'45" West 20.1 feet, along the centerline of
said Post Road, to the Principle Point of Beginning containing
20.220 acres more or less. Subject to all easements, rights-
of-way, and restrictions of record.
The above described tract's bearing base originates from
Franklin County Engineers GPS point 'Frank 72' azimuth to
'Frank 172'. All documents referenced are on file at the Union
County or Frank Ii n County Recorder's Off ices. Surveyed by
Steven A. Solomon, P.S. No. 7243, in July, 1993.
