A RESOLUTION REFERRING ORDINANCE NO. 23-93
(AMENDMENTS TO THE COMPENSATION PLAN) TO
THE PERSONNEL BOARD OF REVIEW
WHEREAS, Council has indicated their desire to have the
Personnel Board of Review provide recommendations to Council
on the various amendments to the Compensation Plan contained
in Ordinance No. 23-93; and
WHEREAS, this assignment also includes further review of the
appropriate pay grade level for the Communications Specialist
position created with Ordinance 20-93; and
WHEREAS, the Dublin Charter Section 7.01(b) (2) specifies that
such assignments to the Personnel Board of Review must be made
by resolution of Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RZOLVED by Council of the City of
Dublin, State of Ohio, members concurring that:
Section 1. The Personnel Board of Review is hereby authorized
to review the proposed amendments to the Compensation Plan
contained in Ordinance No. 23-93, consulting with City staff
where necessary, for recommendation to Council.
Section 2. The Board is further requested to review the pay
grade level established for the Communications Specialist
position created with Ordinance No. 20-93 and make
recommendation to Council.
Section 3. This Resolution be and the same hereby is declared
to be an emergency measure necessary for the public health,
safety and welfare, and therefore shall take effect and be in
force immediately upon its passage.
