MEMORANDUM
TO: Members of Dublin City Council
FROM: Timothy C. Hansley, city Hanaqer ;I~
INITIATED BY: Fred Hahn, Parks Administrator
SUBJECT: ODNR Grant
DATE: January 14, 1993
The City wants to apply for a matching dollar grant from ODNR to
landscape the park located in Heather Glen subdivision. This would
be reflected in our 1994 operations budget. The City's cost would
be approximately $2,000 to $3,000 cash and $3,000 to $4,000 in
administration/maintenance costs. We would receive approximately
$6,000 from ODNR. This grant is designed to encourage small
business owners in the landscape field, and is an excellent
opportunity to secure landscaping for the park at minimal costs.
The grant application deadline is January 25, 1993, and requires a
resolution passed by Council to be included in the package. For
this reason, staff is requesting passage by emergency at the
January 18 Council meeting.
Thank you.
