INTERSECTION OF TARA HILL DRIVE AND MUIRFIELD DRIVE, IN I
THE CITY OF DUBLIN, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO I

WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is preparing to install a permanent traffic signal at the
intersection of Tara Hill and Muirfield Drive.
WHEREAS, said improvement will require the City of Dublin to obtain a temporary
construction easement in and to the premises described in the attached Exhibits "A" and
"B" located in the City of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio.
NOW THe,REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council, of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, ofthe elected members concurring that:
Section 1. Council considers it necessary and declares its intention to appropriate, for
the purpose of installing a permanent traffic signal at the intersection of Tara Hill and
Muirfield Drive, a temporary construction easement in and to the premises located in the
City of Dublin, Ohio, and more fully described in the legal descriptions attached hereto as
Exhibits "A" and "B".
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to cause written notice ofthe
passage of this Resolution to be served upon the owners and persons in possession or
having an interest of record in the above-described property. This notice shall be served
according to law.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest
date permitted by law.

SUBJECT: Resolution No. 58-98 Concerning Temporary Construction Easements for
Tara Hill Drive and Muirfield Drive Intersection
Attached, please find a copy of a resolution of intent to appropriate temporary construction
easements for the installation of permanent traffic signal at the intersection of Tara Hill and
Muirifield Drive.
The current City budget provides for the replacement of a temporary traffic signal with a
permanent traffic signal as per the city-wide traffic signal study. Also attached is a copy of an
exhibit showing the general layout of the improvement.
Upon approval of this resolution by Council and acquisition of this temporary construction
easement, we expect to bring this matter back to you on November 16, 1998 for approval of the
bid award.

FOR TARA HILL DRIVE
" Situate in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin. City of Dublin, being in Virginia
Military Survey 3010. and being a strip of land on. over and across Common Space "B" as
delineated upon the plat of DUBLIN VILLAGE of record in Plat Book 63, Page 47. records of
the Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio, and being more particularly described as follows;
Beginning at an iron pin set in the existing southwesterly right-of-way line of Tara Hill
Drive (flea as Nortllerly Deive, being 50.00 feet in width), at the common corner of Lot 91 and
Common Space "B" as delint':&ted upon said plat of DUBLIN VILLAGE; said iron pin beit.lg
located 25.00 feet right of centerline station 42+44.34. as delineated upon the Muirfield Drive
and Tara Hill Drive Improvement Plan prepared by RD. Zande and Associates, Inc. in 1998;
Thence the following two (2) courses and distances along said existing southwesterly
right-of-way line oiTara Hill Drive and the northeasterly line of said Common Space "B";
1 . Thence S 420 41' 34" E. a distnnce of 80.66 .feet to a point of curvature; . .
2. Thence with .a curve to the right having a radius of 25.00 feet, a central angle of 900
00' 00", a chord bearing of S 020 18' 26" W, a chord distance of 35.36 reet. to a
point of tangency in the existing northwesterly right-of-way line of M uirfield Drive
(being 100.00 feet in width);
Thence the following two (2) courses and distances across said Common Space uB";
I, Thence N 090 40' 08" W. a distance of 23.85 feel to a point" being 37.00 feet right
of centerline station 43+30.00 of Tara Hill Drive;
2. Thence N 420 41' 34" W. parallel with said centerline of Tara Hill Drive a distance
of85.66 feet to a point in said common line of Common Space "B" and Lot 91;
Thence N 470 18' 26" E. a distance of 12.00 feet along said COmmon line of Common
Space "'B" and Lot 91 to the Point of True Beginning of the herein described strip, containing
1264 square feet, more or less.
The bearing datwn of the afore-described tract is based on the bearing of
S 470 IS' 26" W, for the centerline of Muirfield Drive as delineated upon the plat of reCord in
