:1 WHEREAS, said construction will require the City of Dublin to obtain a temporary

,I construction easement in and to the premises described in the attached Exhibit "A" located
II in the City of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio.
NOW, T~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council, of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. Council considers it necessary and declares its intention to appropriate, for
I the purpose of construction ofthe Scioto River Bridge, a temporary construction easement
in and to the premises located in the City of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio, and more fully
described in the legal description attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

I Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to cause written notice ofthe passage
I
of this Resolution to be served upon the owners and persons in possession or having an
interest of record in the above-described property. This notice shall be served according to
law.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest
date permitted by law.

DESCRIPTION OF CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT
Situated in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, Township of Washington, and being part of Lot 15 of Scioto
Shores Subdivision of record in Plat Book 18, Page 37 and being conveyed to Stephen Willson Meagher by
deed of record in Official Record 27282 G12 of the Franklin County Recorder's Office, and being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning, for reference, at the southwesterly corner of the said Lot 15 on the easterly right-of-way
line of Dublin Road to the south; thence S 87046'05" E, along the southerly line of the said Lot 15,
6.50 feet to the true point of beginning at the current easterly right-of-way line of Dublin Road to the
north;
Thence N 06020'32" W, along the said easterly right-of-way line, 5.53 feet to a point;
Thence N 08025'57" W, along the said easterly right-of-way line, 21.58 feet to a point;
Thence N 81034'03" E, 5.00 feet to a point;
Thence S 08025'57" E, 8.04 feet to a point;
Thence N 87046'05" W, 11.37 feet to a point;

New Scioto River Bridge Between Riverside Drive and Dublin Road
Attached, please find a copy of an appropriation resolution authorizing the Director of Law to
proceed with a temporary construction easement take, as described in Exhibit B - Parcel2T.
Also enclosed is a copy of the actual bridge alignment, marked as Exhibit B, which was also
provided to you at the last City Council meeting. This is the last right-of-way/easement item that
is necessary for the construction of the new Scioto River bridge.
Engineering Division staff has applied for the ODOT permit. The project is scheduled for bid
opening in mid-August, 1998.
