A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE FRANKLIN COUNTY BOARD
OF ELECTIONS TO PLACE ORDINANCE NO. 102-94 (Amended)
[REVISED NORTHEAST QUADRANT PUD REZONING] ON THE
NOVEMBER, 1995 BALLOT, PURSUANT TO THE REFERENDUM
PETITION FILED BY THE ELECTORS, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 102-94 (Amended) was approved by Dublin
City Council on March 20, 1995; and
WHEREAS, referendum petitions were filed with the Finance
Director and forwarded to the Franklin County Board of
Elections pursuant to law; and
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Board of Elections examined the
referendum petitions as to Ordinance No. 102-94 (Amended); and
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Board of Elections has determined
that the petitions contained sufficient signatures pursuant to
Ohio Revised Code section 731.29.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Dublin, state of Ohio, ~ of the elected members
concurring:
Section 1. That Council hereby instructs the Franklin County
Board of Elections to place Ordinance No. 102-94 (Amended) on
the November 7, 1995 ballot.
section 2. That this Resolution is declared to be an
emergency necessary to ensure the health, safety or welfare of
the residents, and for the further reason that the Resolution
must be in effect prior to the Franklin County Board of
Elections' filing deadline of August 24, 1995.
