AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE NECESSARY CONVEYANCE DOCUMENTATION
TO ACCEPT THE DEDICATION OF A 0.025 ACRES, MORE
OR LESS, PERMANENT SIDEWALK EASEMENT, AND
A 0.035 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, TEMPORARY
CONSTRUCTION AND GRADING EASEMENT FROM
KEVIN O'CONNOR AND KAREN O'CONNOR
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin ( "City ") is preparing to construct its 2011 Street
Maintenance — Phase 2 construction project ( "Project "); and
WHEREAS, said project requires that the City obtain certain property interests in
Franklin County Parcel No. 273 - 000257, owned by Kevin O'Connor and Karen
O'Connor (the "O'Connors "); and
WHEREAS, the O'Connors are willing to dedicate the property interests in Franklin
County Parcel No. 273 - 000257 to the City as set forth in the legal descriptions
attached hereto, and the City is willing to accept said dedication.
NOW, THERE�RE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all documentation
necessary to accept the dedication of an approximate 0.025 acres, more or less,
permanent sidewalk easement, and a 0.035 acres, more or less, temporary construction
and grading easement from the O'Connors, as set forth in the legal descriptions
attached herewith.
Section 2 . This ordinance shall take effect on the earliest date permitted under
applicable law.

2011 Street Maintenance Program —Phase 2
PROJECT BACKGROUND:
The City of Dublin ( "City ") is preparing to construct the 2011 Street Maintenance Program —
Phase 2 construction project. The City must obtain property interests from various landowners
located within the City in order to construct this roadway project. A representative of the City
has reached out to landowners in order to gauge their respective interests in dedicating the
needed property interests to the City.
DONATION INTRODUCTION:
The O'Connors are dedicating to Dublin the following property interests located within Franklin
County Parcel No. 273- 000257, as visually depicted in the attached map:

ACTION TO BE AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE:
Ordinance No. 51 -11 would allow the City Manager to execute all necessary conveyance
documentation to formally accept the dedication of the aforementioned property interests.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of Ordinance No.51 -11 at the second reading /public hearing on
September 26, 2011 as obtaining the property interests described herein is necessary for the
furtherance of the 2011 Street Maintenance Program — Phase 2 construction project.

Situated in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, City of Dublin, lying in Virginia
Military Survey Number 2542, being on, over, and across that original 0.872 acre tract conveyed
to Kevin O'Connor and Karen O'Connor by deed of record in Instrument Number
200509120188018 (all references refer to the records of the Recorder's Office, Franklin County,
Ohio), and described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northwesterly corner of said 0.872 acre tract, being the southwesterly
corner of that 0.931 acre tract conveyed to William G. Robson by deed of record in Deed Book
3628, Page 698, being on the easterly right -of -way line of Corbins Mill Drive;
thence North 89° 26' 19" East, with the line common to said 0.931 and 0.872 acre tracts,
a distance of 7.02 feet to a point;
