A RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE DUBLIN
CITY SCHOOLS LEVY ELECTION OF FEBRUARY 8, 1994,
P AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
" WHEREAS, a strong school district is vital to the economic
well-being and future success of the Dublin community; and
WHEREAS, the quality of the school district is an important
factor in bringing new businesses to our community, thus
insuring stable property values and opportunities for its
residents; and
WHEREAS, the Dublin City Schools must continue to serve an
important role in the success of the Dublin community by
attracting families and businesses who are seeking quality
education in the City; and
WHEREAS, the Dublin City School District currently seeks the
approval of an operating levy for funding the operations and
staffing of the existing schools and the two new schools; and
WHEREAS, the continued success of the Dublin Schools is
important to the continued success of this City in providing
a sound education and better employment opportunities to the
future work force.
r NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring
that:

Section 1. The Dublin City Council endorses the passage of
the operating levy which will be placed before the voters on
February 8, 1994 by the Board of Education of the Dublin City
Schools.
Section 2. This Resolution is declared to be an emergency
measure for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety, and therefore this Resolution shall take effect and be
in force immediately upon its passage.
