Resolution authorizing the City Manager to apply for and to accept grant
funds from the Ohio Historic Preservation Office

WHEREAS, the City deems it is desirable to acquire funds for the purpose of researching
and preserving the history of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Ohio Historic Preservation Office offers funds for the research and
preservation of historical resources for local governments; and
WHEREAS, the Architectural Review Board is a Certified Local Government and has
made application for a grant from the Ohio Historic Preservation Office; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of such grant funds on behalf of the City of Dublin will allow
the City to better preserve and protect the historic resources and heritage of the local
community; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of such grant funds on behalf of the City of Dublin will
enhance the community values and implement goals of the Community Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents
- , necessary and appropriate to apply for and accept funds from the Ohio
Historic Preservation Office on behalf of the City.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective in the earliest period allowed by law.
