Ii WHEREAS, the City has adopted the 1998-2002 five-year Capital Improvement Plan;

II WHEREAS, the City has included the Emerald Parkway - Scioto River Bridge project in
I the five-year Capital Improvement Plan; and

II WHEREAS, the City intends to file applications with the Ohio Public Works
, Commission to acquire grant funds through the State Capital Improvement
I Program/Local Transportation Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to designate a City official as its authorized
representative to submit the applications and execute contracts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, ~ elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby designated as the City's official
representative on applications to the Ohio Public Works Commission for the State Capital
Improvement Program/Local Transportation Improvement Program.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City
grant applications, agreements and any and all other documents necessary to process
applications with the Ohio Public Works Commission. i
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest I
period allowed by law.
