A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND
BEST BID FOR PRINTING SERVICES FOR THE
PARKS & RECREATION PROGRAM & ACTIVITIES
BROCHURE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER A CONTRACT FOR
PROCUREMENT OF SAID BROCHURE.
WHEREAS, after conducting formal advertising and competitive bidding procedures for the
printing of the Parks and Recreation program and activities brochure; and,
WHEREAS, Council has determined that bid submitted by Bindery and Specialties for said
brochure, based upon the per unit prices specified in the bidder's proposal on file within the
Division of Human Resources/Procurement, is the lowest and best bid.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the bid submitted by Bindery and Specialties for printing services for the
parks and recreation program and activities brochure, as on file with the Division of Human
Resources/Procurement, is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter a term contract with Bindery
and Specialties for the printing of said brochures.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted
by law.

Attached for your consideration please find Resolution No. 02-97 accepting the lowest and best bid
for the printing and distribution of the program and activities brochure for the Division of Parks and
Recreation. Also, attached for your reference is a copy of the bid tabulation.
This bid project involves the printing, collating, binding and delivery of three issues (Spring, Summer
and Fall) of the Parks & Recreation Program & Activities Brochure for Dublin residents. The initial
term of the contract would be from February 1, 1997 to January 31, 1998. However, the contract
may be renewed for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods ending January 31, 2000. As
reflected in the attached bid tabulation, the City received bids from the following vendors:
* Bindery and Specialties
* Old Trail Printing
Pursuant to the bid documents, a single award should be made to the lowest and best bidder.
Staff believes that the bid submitted by Bindery and Specialties, for $27,920, is the lowest and best
bid. Staff, therefore, recommends that said bid be accepted.
