il RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT \
II. C~ORDINATOR AS HOUSING OFFICER FOR THE I
I: CIT OF DUBLIN. AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

II WHEREAS, the city, pursuant to Title 37 of the Ohio Revised
\1 Code has previously established community Reinvestment Areas;
II and
II
i,1 WHEREAS, Ohio Revised Code S3735.66 requires the legislative
il authority to adopt a resolution designating a housing officer;
" and
:\ WHEREAS, the city has recently created and filled the position
I' of Economic Development Coordinator; and
,I
ii WHEREAS, it is the administration I s desire that the Economic
II Development Coordinator assume the duties of Housing Off icer
II for all present and future community Reinvestment Areas
II established wi thin the city; and
1\ WHEREAS, passage of this Resolution as an emergency is
\1 necessary so as to enable the new Housing Off icer to comply
I: wi th the statutory duties in a timely manner; and
II NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by council for the city of I
\1 Dublin, state of Ohio, + of its elected members concurring II
that:

II section 1. The Economic Development Coordinator is hereby
I[ designated as the "Housing Officer" pursuant to Title 37 of the
II Ohio Revised Code and shall assume that function as to
:i existing and subsequently created community Reinvestment

II section 2. This Resolution is declared to be an emergency
i.' measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public \
II peace, health, safety, and welfare of this City and for the
i further reasons set forth in the "whereas" clauses contained
il herein, and therefore this Resolution shall be in force and
i effect immediately upon its passage.
