A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A
CHILD CARE ADVISORY TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, Ordinance 15-99 established the Dublin Parks & Recreation Advisory
Commission; and
WHEREAS, Section 6 of Ordinance 15-99 provides certain guidelines for the establishment of
a Task Force; and
WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission has determined that a Child Care
Advisory Task Force is necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Child Care Advisory Task Force/Committee has in the past provided a great
service to the Dublin Community and such a service is still needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, '7 of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1.
Dublin City Council hereby authorizes the establishment of a Child Care Advisory Task Force
in accordance with Ordinance 15-99, Section 6.
Section 2.
The Child Care Advisory Task Force shall work under the direction of and report all findings
to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission. The scope of work of the Child Care
Advisory Task Force shall be to: I
. Compile a Child Care Directory for pre-school, youth, and teens.
. Instruct classes on forming a babysitting co-op. I
. Establish a babysitting referral board for Red Cross graduates and families. I

Section 3. I
The Child Care Advisory Task Force shall organize and commence work immediately following ,

the passage of this Resolution and shall cease to exist as a body effective April 30, 2000.

Re: Dublin Child Care Advisory Task Force
This memo is to request that the former Dublin Child Care Advisory Committee be reinstated
as the Dublin Child Care Task Force under the auspices of the Dublin Parks and Recreation
Advisory Commission.
The following individuals have expressed interest in serving on this Task Force;

There are three major components that this Task Force would like address;
1. The Child Care Directory for 2000/200 I
