These funds are specifically earmarked for D.A.R.E. Officer's salaries to those agencies that teach the approved curriculum. We expect to get approximately $30,000.00 in funds from the Attorney General's office. It is important to note that these funds do not require us to hire additional personnel, but are simply meant to assist our efforts. Even though we are required to match these funds our overall personnel costs to deliver the program will be reduced. In order to qualify for these funds, the Attorney General requires a resolution from the local governing authority for the Division of Police to apply with the understanding that the local government must match the funds. It is our recommendation that you pass this resolution in support of our D.A.R.E. program. AAn Internationally Accredited Law Enforcement Agency~
