WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is preparing to construct Phase SA of Emerald Parkway extending from Sawmill Road to Saltergate Drive to Hard Road. This project will include replacement of the traffic signal and curb ramps at the intersection of Sawmill Road and Saltergate Drive and repaving of the intersection; and WHEREAS, said improvement will require the City of Dublin to obtain a fee simple interest and temporary construction easement in and to the premises described in the attached Exhibits "A" and "B" located in the City of Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council, ofthe City of Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring that: Section 1. Council considers it necessary and declares its intention to appropriate, for the purpose of constructing Phase SA of Emerald Parkway extending from Sawmill Road to Saltergate Drive to Hard Road, a fee simple interest and temporary construction easement in and to the premises located in the City of Columbus, Ohio, and more fully described in the legal descriptions attached hereto as Exhibits "A" and "B". Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to cause written notice ofthe passage of this Resolution to be served upon the owners and persons in possession or having an interest of record in the above-described property. This notice shall be served according to law. Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest date permitted by law. Resolution No, 28-04 has been submitted to Council for approval of Dublin's (in cooperation with the City of Columbus) intent to appropriate the necessary right-of-way, This property is located on the east side of Sawmill Road and north of Saltergate Drive, The remaining property owner has agreed to donate the necessary right-of-way and temporary construction easement.
