A RESOLUTION FORMALLY RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF A
MEMBER TO THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
DUBLIN
WHEREAS, a vacancy occurred on the Planning & Zoning Commission due to the
resignation of Dick Ritchie on October 5, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Revised Charter requires that a vacancy on a board or commission be
filled within 60 days; and
WHEREAS, at a Special Meeting held on December 2, Council by motion appointed
Ruth Meeker Reiss to the unexpired term of Dick Ritchie on the Planning & Zoning
Commission, effective immediately.
NOW, rEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The appointment of Ruth Meeker Reiss to the unexpired term of Dick
Ritchie on the Planning & Zoning Commission, a term v.hich continues until March 31,
2006 is hereby formally ratified.
Section 2. The above-named person shall serve until a successor is appointed or until
death, resignation, or removal for cause as determined by City Council.
Section 3. The member of Planning & Zoning Commission herein appointed shall
receive compensation as established by City Council.
Section 4. This resolution is effective upon passage as provided under Section 4.04(a)
of the Revised Charter.
