A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 01-03 ESTABLISHING
THE DEVELOPMENT CODE REVISION TASK FORCE BY REVISING
THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE TASK FORCE TO INCLUDE TEN MEMBERS,
THREE OF WHOM SHALL BE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, on January 6,2003, the Dublin City Council adopted Resolution 01-03,
establishing the Development Code Revision Task Force (the "Task Force"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, the Task Force will have nine members, two of
whom shall be members of the Dublin City Council; and
WHEREAS, City Council has determined that the Task Force will be best served by the
addition of a third member of the City Council so as to maintain positive momentum and
greater input from the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the members ofthe Task Force should
be appointed not later than February 10, 2003.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council ofthe City of Dublin, 2-
of the elected members concurring, that:
Section 1. The first paragraph of Section 2 of Resolution 01-03 is amended to read as
follows:
"A Code Revision Task Force (the "Task Force") often individuals shall be appointed by
the City Council no later than February 10, 2003, following solicitation of interested
participants. The Task Force shall be established as follows:
The Task Force shall be comprised of three members of the City Council;
two members of the Planning Commission; one individual to represent the
residential development community and recommended by the Building
Industry Association; one individual to represent the commercial
development community; one individual to represent the Dublin Chamber of
Commerce; and two City of Dublin residents serving as at large
representatives. "
Section 2. This resolution shall be effective upon passage in accordance with Section
4.04(a) of the Revised Charter.

Re: Development Code Revision Task Force
Summary:
At the January 21, 2003 City Council meeting, Council discussed the membership composition of the
Development Code Revision Task Force. Pursuant to the Resolution establishing the Task Force, the
group was to include nine members, two of whom were to be members of the Dublin City Council. As a
result of the discussion on January 21, City Council determined that the Task Force will best be served
by the addition of a third member of the City Council so as to maintain positive momentum and greater
input from the City Council. The attached resolution incorporates this change and also moves the
deadline for appointments to February 10,2003 to allow more time for Council review of the Task Force
applicants.
