A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND
BEST BID FOR THE 2006 POND MAINTENANCE
PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SAID SERVICES.
WHEREAS, after formal advertising, one bid was received on Tuesday, February 14,
2006 for the 2006 Pond Maintenance Project; and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the base bid submitted by Aqua Doc in the
amount of $48,840 is an acceptable bid; and
WHEREAS, this project is an approved 2006 Capital Improvements Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council ofthe City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, +- of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The bid submitted by Aqua Doc in the amount of $48,840 for the 2006 Pond
Maintenance Project is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the proj ect
as listed above, and as specified within the bid proposal and the City's bid documents on
file in the Division of Parks & Open Space.
Section 3, This Resolution shall take effect and be in force upon passage in accordance
with Section 4.04(a) of the Revised Charter.

RE: Resolution 16-06, Pond Maintenance Project
Summary
On Tuesday, February 14, 2006 bids were opened for the Pond Maintenance Project. The
funds for these areas of maintenance are included in the 2006 Operating Budget in the
approximate amount of $50,000.
One (1) bid was received.
Base Bid
1) Aqua Doc $48,840.00
This project consists of applying pond chemical applications for thirty (30) ponds to maintain
weed and algae at acceptable levels throughout the City of Dublin.
Recommendation
Staff is recommending adoption of Resolution 16-06, accepting Aqua Doc's base bid of
$48,840.00.
Aqua Doc has done previous work for the City of Dublin, and staff has found their work to be
most satisfactory.
