14-69 Ordinance ORDINANCE NO. ! /1- ~ 7, VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO I ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE FINAL APPOINTMENT OF DONALD HUGHES AS POLICEMAN OF THE VILLAGE, SETTING HIS COMPENSATION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY I WHEREAS, Donald Hughes has satisfactorily served a six month probationary period as a policeman of the Village; and WHEREAS, the Mayor has made a final appointment of the said Donald Hughes as a policeman of the Village; and WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that the said Donald Hughes is a suitable person for such appointment; , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Council of the : Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, S- of the elected members concurring: SECTION 1. That the final appointment by the Mayor of Donald Hughes, as policeman of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, be, and it hereby is I confirmed. SECTION 2. That in consideration of his full time services to I I the Village the Clerk-Treasurer shall pay the said Donald Hughes the sum I of Five Hundred Twenty Dollars ($520.00) per month of service, in equal I bi -monthly installments on the 15th and last day of each month. I SECTION 3. That_in addition to the sum specified in Section 2 I above, the Clerk-Treasurer shall pay the said Donald Hughes the sum of I One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per year as a uniform allowance, I payable as follows, $100.00 shall be paid on August 15, of each year and I $50.00 shall be paid on February 15, of each year; and the Clerk-Treasurer I shall in further consideration of his services to the Village pay one-half the premium of a basic medical and hospitalization insurance policy for i the benefit of the said Donald Hughes as agreed upon by the Mayor. I I , ! SECTION 4. That upon completion of each six month period of I service to the Village the said Donald Hughes shall be entitled to one week I I vacation time with pay. i SECTION 5. That the said Donald Hughes shall be subject to I call twenty-four (24) hours per day and his minimum work week shall be forty -eight (48) hours. SE CTION 7. That the said Donald Hughes shall perform his duties as policeman under the direction of the Marshall and the Mayor. SECTION 8.
