ORDINANCE NO. ,VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1-54
RELIEVING THE VILLAGE BUILDING INSPECTOR
Oft HIS DUTY IN CERTAIN CASES TO MAKE THE
INSPECTIONS REQUIRED IN SAID BUILDING REGU-
LA TIONS; DEFINING HIS DUTIES IN SUCH CASES;
SETTING THE FEES REQUIRED FOR A BUILDING
PERMIT IN THOSE CASES; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
BE IT O~DAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State
of Ohio, ',:1 of the members thereto concurring:

SECTION 1: i

That Ordinance No, i-54, "Building Regulations of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio" be and it is hereby amended by adding the following:
"The Building Inspector shall not undertake the approval and
inspections required by Section 3781. 04 of the Ohio Revised Code
and other statutes of the State of Ohio provided, however, that
the Ohio Division of Workshops and Factories shall make such
approval and inspections. In the case of the construction within
the Village of any "public building" as defined in RC 3781. 06,
the Building Inspector shall be relieved of his duty to make the
inspections otherwise required by these regulations, provided
that the inspections provided by the statutes of the State of Ohio
shall be made by the Ohio Division of Workshops and Factories.

"No permit or certificate required by these regulations shall b,ef

issued for any such "public building" until the building insP~ftor
is given satisfactory proof that Section 3781. 04 of the OhiO/
,
Revised Code and the other statutes of the State of Ohio have
been complied with. Nor shall the Building Inspector issue such
permit or certificate unless satisfied that such "public building'!
is, or when constructed, will be; in conformity with the Village
Zoning Code and other ordinances of the Village. .
