ORDINANCE 13 - 68 , VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AN ORDINANCE REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MONTEREY
DRIVE IMPROVEMENT, DIRECTING MAYOR
TO READVERTISE FOR BIDS AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 04 - 6 8bids have
been received for the improvement of Monterey Drive; and
WHEREAS, Council has determining that it would be in
the best interests of the Village to reject all the bids received;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of
the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, fc, of the elected members
concurring:
SE CTION 1. That all of the bids previously received for
the construction of the Monterey Drive Improvement referred to in
Ordinance 04 - 6 8 be and they hereby are rejected.
SE CTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized
and directed to readvertize for bids for the construction of said improve-
ment in the manner provided by law; and subject to the provisions of RC
727, 24 and the availability of funds, to enter into a contract with the lowest
and best bidder.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, I
declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preser- i
I
vation of the public health and safety for the reason that this improvement I
I
is presently needed to protect the health and safety of the residents of the
Village, and that this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately!
upon its passage.
