ORDINANCE NO. (i 7.., -C,t-: , VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
ORDINANCE EMPLOYING SOLICITOR
AND SETTING THE COMPENSATION
OF SA ID SOLICITOR.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, ~- of the members elected thereto concurring:
SECTION 1. That Donald G. Rose, Attorney at
Law, be, and he hereby is employed as Village
Solicitor for the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the
year 1968; that said Solicitor shall be paid the sum
\ of $300.00 per year for attending sixteen (16)
Council meetings per year; that sa id Solicitor
shall be paid the sum of $12.50 per hour for the
preparation of Ordinances, Resolutions, Memoranda
Contracts and legal opinions; that sa id Solicitor shall
be paid the sum of $12. 50 per hour for attendance at
Mayor's Court; that said Solicitor shall be paid the
sum of $150.00 per day for all trial work; that said
Solicitor shall be paid the sum of $12.50 per hour for
legal services incident to the prosecution or defense
of legal proceedings; that for legal services incident
to all public improvements, including the preparation
of legal opinions on aspects of said improvement
programs, the preparation of all memoranda contracts,
correspondance and the like, and for service in connec-
tion with the issuance of bonds and notes and payment
thereof, said Solicitor shall be paid the sum of $200.00
plus 20/[ of the total costs of said improvements, and that
said Solicitor shall bill the Village of Dublin quarterly
and shall be paid quarterly for all services rendered
as Solicitor.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be and the same hereby
is declared to be an emergency measure necessary to the
public safety and general welfare of the Village of Dublin,
Ohio, for the reason that the Village has an immediate
~need for the services of a Solicitor, and that this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force upon its passage.
