ORDINANCE NO. ) - c"- , VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE
IN ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FROM
AGRICULTURAL AND RESIDENTIAL TO IN-
DusTRIAL AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, it is necessary without delay to prevent high
density residential development and other high density develop-
ments which would increase sewage and sewage affluent and in-
crease the health and safety hazard by polluting wells and
streams in and about said Village; and
WHEREAS, on July 17, 1967, a request was made to
Village Council to rezone the real estate hereinafter described
from agricultural and residential to industrial; and
vlHEREAS, on the ~ day of July, 1967, the proposal
was submitted to the Planning Commission of the Village of Dublin,
Ohio, for approval, disapproval or recommendation; and
\vHEREAS, on the ~day OfJ (.Ie) JSr , 1967, the said
Planning Commission reported to the Village Council that it

WHEREAS, on the . 2- I~,,-.da y 0 f /.\ L't,,; >,- , 1967, the
contents of this Ordinance, together with the report of said
Planning Commission, was filed for public inspection in the
office of the Village Clerk where it has remained; and

set the matter down for public hearing as required by law; and

due notice, said public hearing was held,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, l~ of the elected members
concurring:
SECTION 1. That the following-described real estate
situated in the Village of Dublin, Ohio, shall be and it hereby
is zoned for industrial use and made a part of the industrial
district of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and shall be subject to
the regulations as set forth in Ordinance No. 3-54 of the Village
of Dublin, Ohio, pertaining to the industrial district, and that
the premises may be used for any industrial purpose or purposes
as set forth in the rules and regulations governing the industrial
district and the uses therein as contained in said Ordinance No.
3-54 including warehousing and storage district, administrative
offices, maintenance and refurbishing of equipment areas and
testing facilities in connection therewith, and for any of the
other industrial purposes set forth in the rules and regulations
governing the industrial district in said Ordinance No.3-54:
Situated in the Village of Dublin, Township of
Washington, County of Franklin, State of Ohio; being
part of Survey No, 2542, Virginia Military Lands, and
being further bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin set on the south line
of U.S. Highway No. 33 (being also Ohio State Route
No. 161) at the present northeast corner of Carol S,
Kennedy, Trustee land (Deed Book 2730, Page 648,
Franklin County Records), thence S 40 13' 28" E 842.51
feet along the common property line between the said
Kennedy and Roland E. & Martha Johnston to an iron
pin set on said common line at the north line of Geese
Frontage Road (see easement to State of Ohio, Deed
Book 2665, Page 524, Franklin County, Ohio Records);
Thence N 870 331 2111 W 934.86 feet along the north
line of said Geese Frontage Road to an iron pin set;
Thence N 40 07' 1411 w 814.55 feet along a new line
through the property of the said Kennedy to an iron
pin set at the present south line of the said U, S,
Highway No. 33; Thence along the present south line
of U. S, Highway No, 33, S 890 15' 20 II E 930.55 feet
to the point of beginning, containing 17.648 acres
of land, more or less.
SECTION 2, That for the reasons set forth in the pre-
amble hereto which are hereby made a part hereof, this Ordinance
be and the same is hereby declared to be an emergency measure

necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health, safety and welfare, and the same shall become effective
upon its passage by Council and its approval by the Mayor.
