ORDINANCE NO. /5-1.0 7, VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF
CHAPTER 12 OF "THE VILLAGE CODE OF
195511, PROVIDING FOR A TERM OF FOUR
YEARS FOR THE OFFICE OF MAYOR OF THE
VILLAGE OF DUBLIN~ OHIO.
BE IT ORDAINED by the council of the Village of Dublin, State
of Ohio, S of the elected members concurring:
Section I. That Section 4 of Chapter 12 of "The Village Code of
1955" be and it hereby is amended to read as follows:
"The Mayor shall be elected for a term of four (4)
years commencing on the 1st day of January, next
after his election, and shall serve until his successor
is elected and qualified. He shall be an elector of the
corporation. He shall be the chief conservator of the
peace within the corporation, and shall have the powers
hereinafter conferred, perform the duties hereinafter
imposed, and such other powers and duties as are pro-
vided by law. He shall be the president of the council,
and shall preside at all regular and special meetings
thereof, but shall have no vote except in case of a tie. "
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.
