I AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR CENTRAL I
I PURCHAS I NG UNDER THE DIRECT I ON OF I
THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR.

I 141 of the Ohio Revised Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORD~INED by the Counci I of the Vi Ilage of
I Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring: ~
i SECTION I. Central purchasing shall be under the direction of I
the Vi I lage Administrator for al I offices, departments, divisions,
boards and commission of the Vi Ilage.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shal I pertain primari Iy to al I items
or classes of items which are regularly and routinely purchased
throughout the year, such as: bvT NDr 4.'H'Tj:~ 7": .
I Tires for all Vi I lage owned vehicles.
Motor oils, greases, anti-freeze and related items.
Office supplies of any nature - paper, cleaning materials, etc.
i Street maintenance materials (Asphalt mixes, stone, salt, etc.) I
I These classes of items when possible, shall be handled thru
annual contracts with the lowest and best bidders,. as determined
I r, by the Administrator. Items not routinely purchased and not avail- I
I I able under an annual contract may be purchased by the Administra-
: U tor and by_~~f}er employees of the Vi Ilage, provided, however,
I that any ~ purchase which is estimated to be in excess of
$75.00 must be approved by the Administrator. This does not
I relieve any Department Head of the responsibility of monitoring I
I ~nd ~aintaining purchases within their established budgetary lim- I
I tat I on s.
I
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
I and after the earliest period allowed by law.
