AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR
THE 4th OF JULY CELEBRATION.

WHEREAS, the Annual 4th of July Cilebration has long been a suc-
cessful joint effort of the Village of Dublin, Ohio and various
business, civic and educational groups within the Village of
Dubl in; and
WHEREAS, the said Village has been advised by the 4th of July
Committee that for it to successfully stage the traditional fire-
works display it needs $2,300.00 by May 15, 1978; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Council of the V i II age of Dub I i r
that the 4th of July Celebration is a desireable and necessary
function for the said Village to participate in;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Vii lage of
Dublin, Ohi~'~ of the members concurring, that:
SECTION I . There is hereby appropriated the sum of $2,300.00 out
of the General Fund and the Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to pay
said sum to the 1978 4th of July ~elebration Committee, provided, I

-) . however, that said Committee will repay an amount up to the said
~l $2,300.00 to the~Village of Dublin from donations received by saic
\ Committee from its various sponsers.

SECTION 2.' This Ordinance will take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.
