I AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
I OF REAL ESTATE FOR PARK AND RECREATION
PURPOSES AND DEClAR I NG AN EMERGENCY.

I BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of I
Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
I
SECTION I . That the herein described real estate, presently own-
ed by the Guy Investment Company, is desired and needed,for Park
and Recreational purposes by the Vi I lage of Dublin, Ohio.

SECTION 2. That a registered survey has been conducted and that I
I the fo II ow i ng is a description of the subject property: I

Situated in the State of Ohio, County 'of Frank I in, Township of I
I Perry, Dublin Corporation being a part of lot 17 in Quarter Town- r
I
I ship 2, Range 19, u.S. Military lands and more particularly des-
I cribed as follows: I
I Beginning at an iron pin in the south line of the Guy Investment I
Company tract and at the northwest corner of lot I of "River
Knolls Addition", as the same is shown of record in P I at Book 23, I
Page 33 Recorder's Office, Frank I in County, Ohio, thence along
~ the south I ine of the Guy Investment Company tract, North 890 I
52' West, 402.04 feet to an iron pin at the southwest corner of I
L., said tract; thence along a line near the east bank of the Scioto I

River, North I 0 48' We st , 348.8 feet to an angle point in said I
line; continuing along the line near the east bank of the Scioto I
River, North 00 56' East, 574.20 feet to a point in the northwest
corner of said Guy Investment Company tract; South 880 48' East,
724.50 feet to the point of intersection of said I ine with the I
center line of Dub I in Prospect Road, said point being marked by a
cross cut in the center of the median strip in said Road; thence
along the arc of the curve of the centerline of said median strip,
the long chord of which bears South 10 20' West, 389.96 feet to a
cross cut in said median strip at the point of tangency of said
curve, continuing along the centerline of said median strip,
South 30 22' West, 239.10 feet to a point at the northeast corner
of said "River Knolls Addition" being the southeast corner of the
said Guy Investment Company tract, thence along the north line of
said "River Knolls Addition", North 890 52' West, 300 feet to the
place of beginning containing 15.254 acres, more or less, subject,
however, to a II legal right-of-ways and easements and restriction!
of record, and of records in respective uti lity offices.

SECTION 3. That pursuant to the power and authority granted by I
~ Sections 715.01 and 715.21 of the Ohio Revised Code that the
Vi Ilage Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter
into Contract Agreement for the purchase of the above described
real estate for a purchase price of One Hundred Ninety Nine Thous-
and Six Hundred Dollars ($199,600.00) which contract is to be ex-
ecuted in the name of the Village of Dublin and signed on its be -
half by the Mayor, Clerk-Treasurer and the Village Administrator
and shall be on the terms and conditions set forth in the attached
"Contract Agreement", which is hereby incorporated into and made
a part of this Ordinance. (Note C I erk- Treasurers cert if; cateaf'so

D SECTION 4. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, de-
I clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
I
I preservation of the public peace, health and safety and for the
further reason that the site is needed for Park and Recreation
I pirposes and that Guy Investment Company desires to complete the
I Contract Agreement at the earliest possible date and therefore
I
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage.
