ORDINANCE EMPLOYING SOLICITOR AND SETTING COMPENSATION
0 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio,
~ of the members elected thereto concurring:
SECTION 1. That Donald A. Richardson, Attorney at Law, be and he hereby
is, employed as Village Solicitor for the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the
year June 1, 1975 to May 31, 1976; that in performing his duties as Solicitor
Donald A. Richardson may be assisted by the legal services of the law firm of
which he is a partner, namely Richardson & Kawalec, as it may from time to
time become necessary and/or desirable so as to fulfill the duties and
responsibilities of Solicitor to the fullest and most competent extent; that
said Solicitor shall be paid the sum of $300.00 per year, and in consideration
thereof, the Solicitor shall attend sixteen (16) Council meetings per year;
that said Solicitor shall be paid the sum of $25.00 per hour for the prepara-
tion of Ordinances, Resolutions, Memoranda, Contracts and legal opinions,
0 whether prepared by the Solicitor solely or whether assisted and for perform-
ing his duties as Solicitor not otherwise provided for herein; that said
Solicitor shall be paid the sum of $150.00 per day for all trial work; that
said Solicitor shall be paid the sum of $25.00 per hour for legal services
incident to the prosecution or defense of legal proceedings; that for legal
services incident to all public improvements, including the preparation of
legal opinions on aspects of said improvement programs, the preparation of all
memoranda contracts, correspondence and the like, and that said Solicitor shall
bill the Village of Dublin monthly and shall"be paid monthly for all services
rendered and expenses advanced as Solicitor.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be in force and effect at the earliest
period allowed by law. /!
