AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TIlE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DUBLIN
~ Be it ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio fo
of the elected members concurring, that:

I SECTION l. The Code of Ordinances of the Village of Dublin, Ohio be,

I and it is hereby, amended by adding Section 71.27 as follows:
"71.27 - UNNECESSARY RAPID ACCELERATION, PROHIBITED
No person shall operate any motor vehicle, upon any
public or private property in the city except when
necessary for safe operation or in compliance with
law, in such'manner that the vehicle is so rapidly
accelerated, or started from a stopped position, or
stopped, that the exhaust system emits a loud, cracking
or chattering noise unusual to its operation, or
the rubber tires of such vehicle squeal or leave tire
marks on the roadway, cOIIll11only called "peeling."
Penalty, See section 137.01 (E).
0 SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after the earliest period allowed by law.
