AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING AND APPOINTING VARIOUS RESERVE I
POLICE OFFICERS FOR THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

\VHEREAS, the Village of Dublin, Ohio, has a reserve police force;
U~ and
\~-ffiREAS, the Mayor has appointed, for a Six (6) month probationary
period, Robin D. Geis, Dana M. Cooper, George A. Gillispie, and Don E.
Gilmore, as reserve police officers of the' Village of Dublin, Ohio; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, is of the
opinion that said Robin D. Geis, Dana M. Cooper, George A. Gillispie, and
Don E. Gilmore are suitable persons for such appointment:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, t of the elected members concurring:
SECTION l. That the six (6) month probationary appointment of
Robin D. Geis, Dana M. Cooper, George A. Gillispie, and Don E. Gilmore as
0 Reserve Police Officers of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, be and it is hereby
confinned.
SECTION 2. That these appointments are contingent on the afore-
said appointees taking and passing a physical examination.
SECTION 3. That this appointment is to continue as probationary
until such time as the aforesaid officers are either finally appointed and
confinned or until they are suspended or removed from office according to law
SECTION 4. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is,
declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace and safety for the reason that the Village has an
immediate need for additional reserve police officers and that this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
