AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING AND APPOINTING VARIOUS AUXILLIARY I
POLICE OFFICERS FOR THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
C WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin, Ohio, has an auxilliary Police Force
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed, for a Six (6) month probationary
,
I period, Michael J. Sheline and Glen F. Lilley as auxilliary police officers of
the Village of Dublin, Ohio; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, is of the
opinion that said Michael J. Sheline and Glen F. Lilley are suitable persons
for such appointment:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Cotrri.cil of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
SECT ION 1. That the six (6) month probationary appointment of
Michael J. Sheline and Glen F. Lilley as auxilliary police officers of the
C Village of Dublin, Ohio, be, and it is hereby confirmed.
SECTION 2. That this appointment is to continue as probationary
until such time as the aforesaid officers are either finally appointed and
confirmed or until they are suspended or removed from office according to law.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, dec~arec
to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace and safety for the reason that the Village has an immediate need I

for additional auxilliary police officers and that this ordinance shall take
effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
