10-75 Ordinance RECORD OF ORDINANCES I I National Graphics Corp" Cols., 0, ~ Form No. 2806-A I - - I Ordinance No.__U>-:~t';:J..____m__ p assed___uu_m_m__./?;!eJmn 1.1_________m_19 _2,::>--:- I I I i ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT F, MAYER, i i AS THE POLICE CHIEF OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN: SETTING HIS CQ\1PENSATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY C WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Robert F, Mayer, as Police Chief of the Village for a probationary period of six months which said period has now elapsed; and WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that the said Robert F, Mayer is a suitable person for such appointment and has met all the requirements of office, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the CmUlcil of the Village of Dublin,State of Ohio, ';) of the elected members concurring: SECTION 1, That the appointment by the Mayor of Dublin of Robert F, Mayer as Chief of Police of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and it hereby is, conf inned, SECTION 2, That the said Robert F, Mayer shall be paid the sum of 0 Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000,00) per annum unless and until changed by vote of Council, SECTION 3, That the said Robert F, Mayer shall be given Twelve aIld one-half (12 1/2) years credit for prior service as a policeman of other law enforcement agencies; and that he shall be credited with Twelve and one-hal (12 1/2) years service in detennining his rate of pay, SECn ON 4, That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace and safety for the reason that the Village has an immediate need for a full-time Chief of Police and that this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its 0 - Passed this 11 day of j-BJJ , 1975, M At st: ~~ (L~ Clerk - Treasurer
