f AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO ADVERTISE
FOR BIDS FOR TWO (2) POLICE CRUISERS,
LESS TRADE-IN ALLOWANCE ON TWO (2) 1976
CRUISERS AND SETTING FORTH THE SPECIFI-
. CATIONS:
WHEREAS, the Village is in need of new Police Cruisers;
NOW, THEREFORE, 8E=IT ORDAINED by the Counci I of the Vi Ilage of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the members elected-thereto con-

SECT I ON I. That the Village Administrator be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to advertise 'for bids for two (2) new
polcie cruisers, less trade- in allowance on two (2) 1976 cru i sers
the new cruisers having the following specifications:
The Cruisers shall be new 1978 models, four door sedans, wheel
. base not less than I 14. 0 i n c he s . Color shall be white, manufac-
turers standard.
SEATS AND UPHOlSTERY: FRONT: Heavy duty springs, cushions and
backs, cushions to have foam rubber pads, heavy duty arms for
support of seat backs (Fleet model not acceptable). REAR: Stan- '
dard as supplied for current models. COVERING MATERIALS: Nylon
cloth with winyl trim, heavy duty, colors to harmonize. Color I
selection information to be furnished with bids.
ENGINE: Shall be V-8, not less than 350 cubic inches, nor less
than 160 h.p. nee, four barrel carburetor, replaceable dry ele-
ment type air cleaner and full flow oil filter. Top speed capa-
b i lit y mu st be at least 120 mph, as delivered. All Bidders shall
include the EPA estimates on average mileage for the vehicles
they are submitting for consideration.
FUEL SYSTEM: The fuel system shall have a gasoline tank with a
capacity of not less than 20 gallons, and a mechanical fuel pump
shall be furnished.
TRANSM ISS ION: Shall be the hydro-matic, Cruise~o-matic, Torque
Flite of equal 3 speed automatic.
AX LES : The front wheel suspension and rear axles are to be of
sturdy construction and capable of sustaining the total gross
load at ground level without evidence OT overloadings. The rear
axles shall be of the bevel gear hypoid type and of such design
and construction as to be capable of transmitting to the driving
wheels the full torque of the engine, as developed through the
highest numerical gear reduction provided in the transmission.
The gear ratio shall be as recommended by the manfacturer and
shall be lis*ed with the bid.
TIRES: Shall be high speed, police high performance, fabric
belted radials, mounted on a 6' safety rim. One spare tire and
wheel shall be provided with each vehicle.
WHEELS AND BRAKES: S ha I I be 15 inch wheels with power brakes.
Front wheels shall have disc type brakes.

Village of Dublin reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
All bids shall be lESS trade-in allowance with RADIO, RED liGHTS,
RADAR, P.A. etc. removed from said trade-in.
