AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO ADVERTISE
~ FOR BIDS FOR A SELF SUPPORTING SALT
STORAGE BUILDING: AND DECLARING AN EMER-
G&RCY.

WHEREAS, the Village is in need of a Salt Storage Facility: ~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
SECTION I. That the Village Administrator be and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to advertise for bids for a Salt Storage
Facility having the following general specifications:
Successful bidder shall furnish materials for a sixty-one (61)
foot diameter self-supporting rigid salt storage building with a
minimum height of twenty-seven (27) feet at an angle of thirty-
nine (39) degrees to be mounted on a concrete floating ring.
Bidder shall furnish a complete building kit which includes can-
opy,ventilation ducts, pre-fabricated and pre-drilled paneis and
[J foundat ion kit. Foundation kit to include all sill plates, Rpre-
cutR, forms, preformed steel rebar includes all anchor ~ars and
all anchor ~olts as required for the floating ring as specified
, by manufacturer of prefabricated building.
Structure must be self supporting when empty and capable of sup-
porting a maximum ground snow load of 110 Ibs. per sq. ft. and a
wind velocity op to 90 M.P.H.
The entire floor area of building, inside the retain wall, shall
be useable. No roof supports or structure members are to be
placed in this area. The doorway must have a minimum height of
11-4R and a minimum width of 14'OR which shall be furnished with
can opy . Buildings with interior supporting members will not be
considered. Building shall be dome shaped prefa~ricated panels,
all wood, clear span as manufactured by Dome International or
approved equal. Area of building to be approximately 2,920 squar.
feet and have a capacity for approximately 700 tons of salt.
Building shall consist of 98 prefabricated panels. The inside
