AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND
0 BEST BID FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A
SAFETY SHIELD ON A SECTION OF EXPOSED
SANITARY SEWER PIPE: AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No:OI-78 bids have been received
for the installation of a Sanitary Sewer Safety Shield: and
, WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid ofJlf~lJItt:.l.4A,.Y -fCto

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring: I

of a Sanitary Sewer Safety Shield in accordance with the specifi-
cations presently on fi Ie in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer be,
and hereby IS, accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Administrator and the Clerk-Treasurer
[] be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a con-
tract in the name of the Village with the said J.I. 1= /Y" CI,.(,N( f-
c.o for the installation of a Sanitary Sewer Safety Shield
in accordance with the specifications presently on file i n the
office of the Clerk-Treasurer, and in accordance with the bid

SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
prese~..tion of the public peace, health and safety for the reason
that this Sanitary Sewer Safety Shield is currently needed and
therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immed-
iately upon its passage.

Gentlemen:
This is our proposal for furnishing and installing two pedestrian
guards on the aerial sanitary sewer.
Material furnished will be in accordance with the attached sketch
and would consist of galvanized steel pipe, chain link fence and
barbed wire.
Total bothJfurnished and installed $2,700.00
We believe that the proposed guards using chain link fence and barb-
ed wire is best, but if you select the design as shown in sketch sup-
plied with request to bid we can furnish and install that material
for $3,125.00
