AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO AD-
VERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE I NSTA LLAT I ON
0 OF A SAFETY SHIELD ON A SECTION OF
EXPOSED SANITARY SEWER PIPE: AND DE-
CLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, a section of exposed Sanitary Sewer passing over a
quarry creates a very potential hazard, and needs a Safety Shiel
i nsta lied thereon:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Vii lage of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the members elected thereto con-
curring:
SECT ION I. That the Village Administrator be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to advertise for bids for two successive
weeks for "Sanitary Sewer Safety Shield" in accordance with the
specifications prepared by Burgess and Niple Limited and present
Iy on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer. A II bids sha II
be sealed and shall be filed with ~he Village Administrator,
Vi Ilage of Dubl in, Ohio, before II :OOA.M. I.S.T. r4i6 , ,
1978, at which time said bids shall be publicly opened. The
[J Council of the Village of Dublin reserves the right to reject
any and all bids.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby
is, de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace,health and safety and for the
further reason that this Safety Shield should be installed at
the earliest possible date, therefore this Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
