AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A WATER SYSTEM
CAPAC ITY CHARGE IN THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN,
OHIO, AND REPEALING .RDINANCE 44-74 AND
(j ALL AMENDMENTS THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin is constructing a water distribu-
tion s~stem and wi II from time to time construct water lines
larger than 8 inches in diameter to provide an adequate distri-
bution system and;
WHEREAS, an ag~eement between the Vi Ilage and developers or app-
licants will be entered into to construct waterlines and water
lines larger than 8 inch diameter which abut on parcels owned or
not owned by the developers or applicants and;
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to set aside funds for reimburse-
ments or paying for said oversize cost or for reimbursing costs
set forth in said agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
SECTION I. That the Village establish a Water System Capacity
~ Charge and that the following rates shall be charged in addition
to any charges made by any other applicable governmental agency
for each service connection made to any property and shall be
paid at the time a permit is issued for the service connection.
No person shall make a service connection or any part there.f,
unless he has been issued a permit therefor by the Village. In
tha event a tap is subse?uently enlarged, the difference between
the charges for the two 2) tap sizes shall be paid:

For all taps used to supply fire protection only, the rate shall
be one-half (1) the rate specified in this section.
SECTION 2. That it further be resolved that the Village may also
use any unencumbered funds for elevated storage facilities, boos-
ter stations and other special control devices and for maintain-
ing said improvements.

m SECTION 3. That Ordinance No.:44-74 and all amendments thereto
is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4...:. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
