AN ORDINANCE IUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO APPOINT TWO POLICEMEN AND TO
'1 CREATE AN ADDITIONAL POSITION OF
\ SERGEANT AND TO PROMOTE ONE POLICE-

CONSENT OF COUNCIL. I

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio ~
of the elected ..mbers concurring, that:
SECTION I. The Mayor end Chief of Police are authorized to inter-
view, test and investigate all applicants for the position of po-
lice.an, and, from said interviews, testing and investigations,
the Mayor shall appoint two persons te fill positions of police-
Men with the advice and consent of Council.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and Chief of Police are, hereby, authorized
to create an additional Sergeant's position within the Village's
Police Department, and, from said interview, testing and investi-
gation, the Mayor shall appoint a person to fill the newly crea-
ted position of Police Sergeant with the advice and consent of
Counc i 1_.

[J SECTION 3..t. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.
