AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LOWEST
AND BEST BID FOR PARK DEVELOPMENT
-AVERY PARK - PHASE I, #AND'DECLAR- i
JJ I NGAN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 48-77 bids have been received for
said Park improvements; and ]

w.HEREAS, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources has recommended ,
and approved the bid of Four Seasons Nursery; and
WHEREAS, Council had determined that the bid of Four Seasons Nur-
sery for the GENERAL CONTRACT in the amount of $98,000.00, the :
Alternate bid G2-A for ball field lighting in the amount of $33,-
459.00 and the Alternate bid G3-A for tennis court lighting in 1

the amount of $14,000.00, and the Alternate bid G-6 for sign and ]
,
stepping columns in the amount of $1,500.00 are/is the lowest and
best b i d/b ids;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~of the elected members concurring;
SECTION I. That the bid/bids of Four Seasons Nursery for said
improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications
presently on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer be, and
[] hereby is/are accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Administrator and the Clerk-Treas-
urer be, and they hereby are, directed to eaecute a contract in
the name of the Village with the said Four Seasons Nursery for
said improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications
presently on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, and in
accordance with the said bid/bids of Four Seasons Nursery.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety and for the
further reason that these i.provements are needed to make this
Park availab4' for use of Village residents as soon as possible
and to utilize Federal B.O.R. funds being used in connection with
the se improvements and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force i mmed i at ely upon its passage.
