AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LO\'JEST
AND BEST BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A NE\~ l1:JNICIPAL BUILDING AND
[J DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
HHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 24-77 bids have been received for
the construction of a new Municipal Bui Iding, and;
\vHEREAS, Counc i I has determined that the bid of Coover Construc-
tion Company for said structure (Base bid and Alternate #1) In
the amount of $493,000.00 is the lowest and best bid:
NO\v, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Vi I lage of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
SECTION I . That the bid of Coover Construction Company for the
construction of a new ~unicipal Building (Pase Bid and Alternate
# I) In accordance with the plans and specifications presently on
fi Ie In the office of the Clerk-Treasurer be, and hereby IS,
accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Vi I lage Administrator and the Clerk-Treasur-
er be, and they hereby are, directed to execute a contract in the
name of the Vi I lage with the said Coover Construction Company for
0 the construction of a new ~'lunicipal Bu i I din g in accordance with
the plans and specifications presently on fi Ie in the office of
the Clerk-Treasurer and in accordance with the said bid of Coover
Construction Co.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby IS, de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety for the rea-
son that a new ~unicipal Guilding is currently needed and that
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage.
