AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO ADVERTISE
FOR BIDS FOR A NEW 1977 INDllSTRIAL TRA-
D CTOR EQUIPPED WITH A REAR MOllNTED FLAIL
TYPE MOWER: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

! WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin . in need of a Tractor and Mower

, to maintain efficient services in said Vii lage:

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Counci I of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
SECT I ON I. ", That the V i II age Adm i n i strator be, and he hereby IS,
authorized and directed to advertise for bids for a new 1977 In-
dustrial Tractor equipped with a rear mounted Flail type Mower,
said Tractor and Mower having the fol lowing specifications:
ONE NEW 1977 INDUSTRIAL TRACTOR, COMPACT, HEAVY DUTY, 4 WHEEL
TYPE. I

ENGINE - Gasoline, 3 cy I i nder, not less than 135 cu. inch dis-
placement, not less than 40 net horsepower.
D COOLING SYSTEM - Heavy duty type.

AIR CLEANER - Dual element - dry type.

ELECTRICAL - 12 volt electrical system, two headlights, one rear
working light, two red and amber flashing lights, one mounted
on each fender.
CLUTCH - Foot operated automotive type.

TRANSMISSION - 8 speed manual.
FINAL DRIVE - Must be type with differential lock.

BRAKES - Mechanical or hydraulic, fooe operated individually
right or left or simultaneously.

STEERING- Power steering.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM - Manufacturers standard.

POWER TAKE OFF AND HITCH _ Live rear P.T.O. - 3 point hitch with
U sway bars or stabi lizers for mower operations.

A delivery date shall be specified in the bid and a dealer rep-
resentative shall provide instruct ions in the proper operation
and maintenance of this equipment, at the time of delivery.
SECTION 2. All bids shall be sealed and shall be filed with the
Vii lage Administrator, Village of Dublin, Ohio before 12:00 noon
HI.... 1-8 , 1977, at which time said bids shall be opened. A II
bids shall be accompanied by bond or certified check in the
~ amount of $100.00. The Counc i I of the Vii lage of Dublin reserves
the right to reject any and all bids.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby IS, de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety for the rea-
son that a new Tractor and Mower are presently needed to maintain
efficient services in the Village and that this Ordinance shall
[ take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage. I
