AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A LOCAL SEWER SERVICE
TAP PERMIT FEE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
C WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin is developing a wastewater collection system
and;
WHEREAS, there is a need to establish certain tap charges as herein provided
as necessary to-recover improvement costs for local sewer service and service taps
not previously assessed, or not paid for by the developer, the subdivider, or the
property owner, and;
WHEREAS, there is a need to establish certain tap charges for temporary local
sewer service and to establish a credit toward future assessments, and
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Village of Dublin establish a local
sewer service tap permit fee in the following amounts:
~ A charge for local sewer service at $1,200 per tap for residential use.
%. A service tap charge of $300 for existing service taps in or adjacent to
street rights-of-way or a service tap charge of $30 for existing service
taps in rear easements.
J. For each commercial or industrial tap, a charge for local sewer service
at $1,200 for each tap plus $12 per each additional foot of sewer exceeding
100 feet per side of the sewer tap paralleling or crossing said property.
That these charges may be revised by a majority vote of the Council of the
C Village of Dublin,. and;

~hat these charges may be used to reimburse the Village's share of improvement
costs above those required under the O.R.C. and;
That these. chargeS may be used or reserved to extend set.rer facilities and'

That these charges may be used to reimburse others for sewers constructed
by them, provided previous agreements have been entered into and;
That this Ordinance be declared an emergency measure and take effect at the
earliest date allowed by law.
