ISTRATOR TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR TWO (2) POLICE CRUISERS,

LJ WHEREAS, the Vi I lage IS in need of two (2) new Pol ice Cruisers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Counci I of the Vii lage

concurring:
SECTION I. That i:he Vi I lage Adminisi:rator be, and he hereby IS,
authorized and directpd to advertise for bids for two (2) new
pol ice cruisers, less trade-in allowances on a 1973 and a 1974
crUiser, the new cruisers hav1ng the fol lowing specifications:
The Cruisers shal I be new 1976 models, four door sedans. Wheel
bases noi: less than 117.5 inches. Color shal I be white.
SEATS AND UPHOLSTERY: FRONT: Heavy duty springs, cushions ~ backs,
cushions to have foam rubber pads, heavy duty arms for support of
seat backs (Fleet model not acceptable). REAR: Standard as supp-
lied for current models. COVERING MATERIALS: Nylon cloth with
vinyl trim colors to harmonize. Color seleci:ion information to
be furnished with bids.
, ENGINE: Shal I be v-8 not less than 350 cubic inches, nor less
~ than 160 h.p. net, four barrel carbeurator, dual exhausts, repl-
..J acable dry element type air cleaner and ful I flow oi I fi Iter.
Top speed capabi lity must be at least 120 MPH, as delivered.
FUEL SYSTEM: The fuel system shal I have a gasol ine tank with a
capacity of not less than 20 gal Ions, and a mechanical fuel pump
shal I be furnished.
TRANSMISSION: Shal I hE> +h~ Hydro-~ati~, Cruise-o-matic, Torque
