AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING AND APPOINTING VARIOUS
RESERVE POll CE OFF I CERS FOR THE V I L LAGE OF OUR 1I N,
OHIO: AND DECLARING AN FMERGENCY.
[1& WHEREAS, The Vi Ilage of Dublin, Ohio, has a reserve pol ice
U force; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed, for a Six (6) month pro-
bationary period, Lee Ri ley, Joseph P. Speziale, Jr and
David L. Wright, Jr, as reserve police officers of the
Vi I lage of Dublin, Ohio; and
WHEREAS, the Counci I of the Vi Ilage of Dubl in, Ohio, IS
of the opinion that said Lee Ri ley, Joseph P. Speziale, Jr
I and David L. Wright, Jr are suitable persons for such app-
ointment:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Counci I of the Vi Ilage
of Dubl in, State of Ohio,~___ of the elected members con-
curring:
SECTION I. That the six (6) month probationary appointment
of Lee Ri ley, Joseph P. Speziale, Jr and David L. Wright, Jr
as Reserve Police Officers of the Vi I lage of Dubl in, Ohio, be
and it is hereby confirmed.
c: SECTION 2. That these appointments are contingent on the
~ aforesaid appointees taking and passing a physical exam-
ination.
SECTION 3. That this appointment is to continue as pro-
bationary unti I such time as the aforesaid officers are
either finally appointed and confirmed or until they are
suspended or removed from office according to law.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby IS,
declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the Imm-
ediate preservation of the publ ic peace and safety for the
reason that the Vi Ilage has an immediate need for additional
reserve pol ice officers and that this ordinance shal I take
effect and be in force immediately upon i~s ,assage.A;)
